Pediatric Neurosurgery is a branch of medicine that deals with disorders and problems of the nervous system in children (pediatric). This medical field deals with the surgical treatment of neurological diseases in children. Pediatric neurosurgeons perform surgical interventions on various neurological problems such as congenital neurological disorders, head traumas, tumors, epilepsy, hydrocephalus (cerebrospinal fluid accumulation), brain and spinal cord cysts.
